Jen Peele is a compassionate, soon-to-be dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with autonomous practice authorization under her family certification in Virginia. She provides comprehensive, patient-centered care with a strong focus on holistic wellness, integrating physical, mental, and emotional health.
With a clinical background spanning sleep medicine, primary care, critical care, and psychiatry, Jen brings deep expertise to her work. She recently completed her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health at the University of South Carolina and specializes in treating patients across the lifespan. Her focus areas include:
- Co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, Bipolar, and fibromyalgia
- Medication management, therapeutic interventions, and patient education
- Integrative, evidence-based care that supports recovery and long-term wellness
Jen’s care philosophy is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and empowerment. She believes informed patients are empowered patients—and emphasizes open communication to help individuals actively participate in their health journeys.
She blends psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and lifestyle interventions such as mindfulness, nutrition, and movement. Jen is also growing a keen interest in innovative psychiatric treatments, including esketamine, TMS and psilocybin, for individuals with treatment-resistant conditions.
Personal Life
Outside of practice, Jen is a wife and mom of two who enjoys spending time with family, friends, and pets. She’s visited 42 states (and counting!) and loves to travel. Her hobbies include Pickleball, Pilates, hiking, crafting, DIY home projects, and thought-provoking podcasts—reflecting her belief in balance, creativity, and lifelong learning.
