Carlie Powers is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Sex Therapist (CST), and Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CAADC) who has been in the mental health field since 2007. She has experience working with adults and teens in multiple levels of care in mental health and addictions treatment. In recent years sex therapy has been the central focus of her work.
Carlie has training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders. She also integrates other family / couples therapy models including Structural Family Therapy, Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy and Gottman interventions into her work.
