About Kellye
Kellye Baker is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Richmond, VA. She has more than 14 years of nursing experience. Kellye has worked with patients in both the outpatient and hospital settings.
Kellye earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from James Madison University and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has over a decade of nursing experience in women’s health, including labor and delivery and caring for women and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Her background has given her a deep appreciation for the connection between emotional well-being, physical health, relationships, and major life transitions.

In addition to her nursing experience, Kellye is also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and brings a holistic perspective to evidence-based psychiatric care, recognizing the important roles of mindfulness, movement, sleep, lifestyle, and emotional wellness. She strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their care. Outside of the office, Kellye enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, participating in activities with her family, and reading.
